Method No. 1: Cleaning dust from curtains.

Use the brush attachment to vacuum the fabric of the drapes gently, but with minimal suction force. If you are working with a delicate or thin fabric, do not press the brush against the fabric; instead, keep the vacuum cleaner 1-2 inches away to prevent damage. Dust tends to accumulate more on the bottom half of the curtains, so pay special attention to this area.

If possible, curtains and drapes should be washed in the washing machine. Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent, and if possible, remove curtain linings.
